LAUSD student services 

  Some student services are students taking their A-G requirements. They also need to pass their classes with a " C" and they need to have 210 credits by the end of the year to graduate.They are preparing us for the 21st century because for you to get a job and keeping it requires more high thinking skills. When you apply to a college or university you apply and look for the rite one for you to go to. When you are applying for college or universities you can also apply for scholarships so it can help you go to the college or university you want to go to. With these student services the give you, you can be prepared and informed well about what they require for you to do like what kind of classes do you need to take to graduate, how many credits do you need, what are some good colleges and universities to go to. Also what are some good colleges for you to attend that you will like and have the classes you need to take. If you need to make up classes and get the credits you didn't get then you can do LAUSD online learning so you can take the classes you need to make up and get the credits you need to graduate on your own time.They give you lots of resources and links to help you find what you are looking for.

 What this is saying is that intelligence isn't enough unless you have character in you or within you. It is saying that if you din't have character intelligence isn't the same because character will give you maturity and more responsibilities. Intelligence plus character is the goal of true education because it shows how responsible and what a good person you are. Many people can look up to you and say that you are intelligent but what most mattered to them was the character you had within you because it shows people who you were and that you were a good person. For example you have this big test at the end of the week and you study all week so you can pass the test but you study all night the night before and the rest of the day that day so you can for sure pass it so you don't do your work in your other classes and then you study more at lunch, finally then you have to take the test and your teacher can tell you studied really hard to pass this test so you can pass the class, so you are done and turn it in to your teacher. The next day you see your score and saw if you passed the class or not, it turns out out you passed both but your teacher didn't pass you because you're a great and good student she passed you because she saw that you studied really hard for this test.  

                

"Neonatologist" 

Duties and responsibilities:  

You are in charge of taking care of newborn babies. They provide treatments to newborn babies that are ill.They also provide assistance in delivering the babies. They make sure the infants get the nutrients, medication and proper care is given to the babies. 

Salary:  $145,000 – $190,000 

Education: 

  To become a neonatologist you must complete medical college, be a doctor of medicine, go to a training program in pediatrics, and a fellowship program for intensive care for infants. 

  

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one ? Why? Why not? 

 Yes, i would like to be one because i love working with babies and i like helping them. I would enjoy working as a neonatologist because i want to work with babies and i wouldn't get tired of working because its something i enjoy doing. Their salary is good and their education doesn't require that much compared to other professions. I would also like working as this because i would love to help parents with their babies and see them happy when their babies are healthy and don't have to worry.

  What this is saying is that if your doing something good the you need to have the courage to continue doing good because it is the right thing to do. If you aren't doing no good you need the courage to stop doing that because that isn't the right thing to do. If you aren't doing anything either good or bad you should start doing good and then continue to keep doing good. For example lets say you always get left with a lot of homework but you procrastinate in doing it and you wait until the day before everything is do or like before you go to sleep that is bad and you should stop doing it, or lets say you always have the habit of studying the day before you have test or quiz that is bad because you don't get any rest and you'll probably forget what you studied for the test. lets say you leave your studying for the day of the test and you try to remember as much as you can before taking the test but you can't because you didn't have enough time to study so therefore you fail the test and don't pass the class. Therefore you need the courage to stop what you shouldn't do and the courage to start and continue what you should do, what is the best for you. 

                                                                     

Orthodontist 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  They are specialized dentist who correct and align their patients teeth. They check their patients bites to if there is a problem so you can straighten it out. They check their patients teeth to see if they need to be straighten or aligned. Sometimes they are in charge of supervising or instructing orthodontic technicians. 

Salary: $196,270 

Education: 

 They require you to go to dental school and graduate with a doctor of dental surgery degree or doctor of dental medicine. You need to have a bachelor's degree in most of the classes. You also have to take the Dental Acceptance Test. 

 

Reflection: 

Yes, I would like to become an orthodontist because it seems like an interesting job to do and I get to help people to get a better smile. I think I would like to enjoy doing this job because I like to help people out when help is needed . The salary is pretty good they earn a good pay as well.

What this quote is saying that if you lie once that lie will lead to another lie and then another and it keeps going until you say the truth. This is showing that lying is a bad thing because then you get used to it and start using it more often or it just becomes a bad habit that will be hard to be get rid of. For example, this happened to me one time in elementary school i was in 3rd or 4th grade and my friend and I didn't want to be outside for recess and so we went upstairs and went into a work room where we weren't suppose to be because we couldn't be in the hallways because we would disturb other classes. So we heard some one coming and so we went to go and hide so we wouldn't get caught and not get in trouble.We hid but then the teacher came back and saw us and we said a lie so we wouldn't get in trouble, but that teacher took us to the teacher we said sent us to the work room to get something, and then she took us and she told him and we said another lie and another until we decided to tell him the truth and apologize to him. Yes we did get in trouble at the end but we learned that if we kept lying we would've gotten more in trouble. 

          

"Winter Break" 

Some things i did during the winter break was stay home and slept for a bit during the rest of the break i went to different places with friends and family. Some places i went to during the break were to the mall, knotts berry farm, ice skating , Disneyland, friends house, and went to Starbucks. Some people i met were some kids from church. Some movies i watched were the hunger games: mocking jay pt 2, the good dinosaur, the Revenant, hot pursuit, and i am legend. Some sports i played during the break were volleyball, soccer, football,and softball. Some CTR experiences i had were to helping out other people helping my neighbors babysit their kids, cleaning my room, and doing my chores. Some other things i did during the break was watch friends with my sister and cousins, my cousin slept over and we played games, went to Starbucks and watched movies and friends. I also went to go visit my cousin and her baby during the break.I also went to go visit my grandparents during the break. My aunt her husband and my cousin came to my house and slept over. The last thing i did was go out and eat with my family before the break was over. The last week of my break all i did was stay in and sleep and enjoy my last week of break.
