Dental Assistant

Duties and responsibilities:  

Prepares patient for dental treatment.  They prepare the working area. Handout the instruments to the dentist.  Keep record of dental treatments.  They instruct proper hygiene to the patients.  They schedule the patient’s next appointment and help with their billing statements. Take x-rays for patients.

Salary:  $34,500

Education:

They need to have a high school diploma and a postsecondary degree.

Yes, I think I would like to be one because it sounds interesting and I like helping people out. They earn a good pay and it looks like a nice job. 

Dentist

Duties and responsibilities:

A dentist is a doctor or dental surgeon that specializes in the oral cavity to prevent diseases. They can  carry out most of the dental treatments like teeth cleaning, oral surgery, and taking radiographs.

Salary:  $149,310

 Education:

They need a bachelor’s degree to dental school, doctoral degree in dental medicine or dental surgery.

Yes, I think I would like to become one because I would like helping people with their oral health. This job also sounds interesting to work with. They earn a good salary.
